Beginning of the End
Sometimes its hard to grasp the idea that this is the last year of college. That's the end of 16 years of education. That means everyone who graduates will finally move on into true adulthood full of careers and responsibilities. Sounds a bit scary, no?
Albert drove me up to Rochester on his way to Buffalo and helped me move in. I'm living in Riverview this year--a new apartment style complex across the bridge from campus. It's a bit of a far walk, but there are buses running and it's absolutely gorgeous! It's so different from the last three years of living in the regular dorms. The regular dorms is pretty much living in literally one room with another person. It's like compacting your entire lifestyle in half a room haha.
But here, everyone's got their own room and their own bathroom. And we all share a kitchen and living room area. It's really awesome because it's like a real apartment, I love it! I'm living with three of my sorority sisters this year. It's been fun so far :)
So far it's been pretty fun. Been to a party or two and attended a senior night event at Soho East (bar/dance floor). It was a fun night, and we stopped by Pearl Club too. Spent some fun time at another dorm yesterday talking and playing Street Fighter 2 and Wii Fit.
Had a sister picnic today & it was really nice because soon we won't be able to have picnics in the harsh winters of Rochester :)
