Not so Bad After All

Sitting at boulder cafe, a few blocks from where I dorm because I'm too lazy to walk all the way to campus to study lol. It's a really nice cozy place to study--with delicious coffee too =)

The wheels are starting to turn this semester & everything's kinda moving along pretty well. Then again, it's just the beginning so it might get more difficult later on but I kinda like it the way it is right now. I just got the job that I really wanted. It's a program assistant job at the Office of Mental Health Promotions. It's a pretty big deal (to me anyways)--I help organize health fairs and any health-related events. I get my own office space and the staff is just wonderful. I'm so excited to get the job.

I also have a lab job where I autoclave the fly bottles and then rinse them out and stuff. It's pretty chillax and I get a lot of free paid time because I just sit around and do my hw or surf the computer while I wait for the fly stuff to get finished. I got the keys to the building & the lab so I can pretty much go in whenever I feel like it.

First week of Rush is finally over but there's another week left. It's been pretty successful & the events are always fun. Met a lot of really nice girls, and most of them are freshman so it makes me feel a bit old :)

Went to Victor He's birthday party @ Jeremy's suite yesterday. It was a lot of fun, and it was nice to have time to relax even with the busy schedule and all that. I love chilling with my syzters <3

Now I'm going back to doing my finance homework--probably going to be here for a while because I think I'm going out tonight. It's great to be 21 =)
